I was unwell during every page of this book and I wanted more
One of the best books I've read this year. I haven't read anything else from Emily Henry but this book made me think of her as a new favorite. I love that each relationship whether platonic or romantic are treated with importance and addressed by the end of the book and not just a "we had one talk and we cried and then we all lived happily ever after" type of way either.
Honestly some things were written in this book that were so emotional and raw for me taking me back to my last relationship. It was intense and real. Loved it

Sometimes all a girl needs is a romance novel and a good cup of coffee - that's what Emily Henry is for me.
I know what to expect, and so far it's always a good time.

i mean… nothing rewarding about a book founded on a miscommunication trope. like 5 times over literally everyone was keeping a secret that’s just a terrible plot. cleo pissed me off (boring), they all forgave each other very quickly idgaf and wyn went from being pissed off to trying to win harriet back like? overnight? for no reason?also the fact that she quit her job when she could have just gone into academia or lab work screams of a lack of research from miss emily henry. maybe i’m biased bc im a future doctor but like. “i came here for me, not wyn” Girl you are just lying. u decided to do exactly what ur mother did omg its the MOST STUPID ENDING!!!!!!!!!! this fucking book
We all know I am lake romances biggest fan so this was definitely on brand for me. But also liiiike I loved this book so much the writing was amazing in my opinion. Also I love a book where the camaraderie of the characters feels natural and this was definitely that!

(4.5) If anyone can do a second chance romance/miscommunication trope well, it’s the Queen Emily Henry!
Definitely not my favorite EmHen book (Beach Read is to soul book) but she can do no wrong !!! This book was sweet with so much love, found family, forced proximity, and second chances! Such a sweet read.

Emily Henry, how come I never heard of you? This is only my second book but I am obsessed with the way she writes. Funny, relatable, honest, romantic, raw… after reading PWMOV, I couldn’t wait to get into more of her books. And let me tell you, I loved this one. At first I was a bit sceptic about Harriet and Wyn, and I didn’t feel like reading a book about two exes. But, I’m so glad it shifted to more than that. I loved the way their group of friends was build and I could relate to (almost) everyone. I really felt like I was a part of the group. Wyn stole my heart. The way he talked about Harriet was… magical. I marked so many of his words to her. Actually I have nothing else to say other than I enjoyed it and even cried a bit. Can’t wait to read more of Emily. Thank you for making reading so fun!!!!
I keep giving Emily Henry a try and hoping her books will get better, but they don’t. The beginning of this book was good, the middle fell flat the ending made up for a bit but not enough.
