I found the story somewhat hard to follow… then again I could be either Jane Austened out or just tired. I felt myself dozing off in the third area of the book. The characters were alright but I found it hard to find any real emotions.

Austen hat in ihren Werken eine Affinität für eine gewisse Struktur.
Dieses Buch leidet in den ersten 100-150 Seiten sehr darunter, da sich der Teil dem Weltgeschehen/Aufbau widmet. Im Vergleich zu ihren anderen Werken zieht es sich stark in die Länge und hat mich tatsächlich öfters das Buch weglegen lassen.

Dennoch sehr durchdacht (was anderes erwartet man) und eine Thematik die gut verwoben war in das ganze Geschehen
