A heroine, Faith, who predicts the future (and it doesn't look pretty) and a hero, Vaughn, who's more jaguar than man. Positively delightful! Really enjoying this series but I'm ready for a changeling heroine now to mix it up.

Although I liked this book, there are a few points that were not explained very well, the Net Mind being one of them. I'm guessing that it's one of those things that once you read a few books in the series, it starts to make sense. I didn't really feel like there were a lot of other questions that were answered in this book either. Faith's visions are very interesting, and it makes us question just how screwed up the Psy are really. The vision with Shoshanna was never addressed, which I think it should have been. Still, overall, I thought it was a good book.

3.5 stars - I liked this book better than the first. I found the plot more interesting and appreciated that Sasha and Lucas were still a part of this book even if they weren’t main characters. The spice in this book was also on a higher level than the first (imo)!

Started on October 17th, 2023. There is a reason why I can’t do long series like these and I in theory like this type of writing but just didn’t like it recently … maybe taste change

Ehh I enjoyed learning more about the world of the Psy and how it works. I feel both like I learned a lot but I still have questions. I liked the characters in the previous book better, and although I am okay with the concept of mates, I feel like it was just too heavy handed here, and too much emphasis of the inevitability of some things. Probably won’t read the next one any time soon, as I have other things to read.
