3.5 rounded up. It's building to something, threading a tricky place between a fresh start and a spin-off continuation of the beloved Hellboy. I miss Mignola's art. But nothing wrong with the book, most of the art is quite good.

All in all, I really liked this first set of stories without Hellboy in them, and I’m really excited for the rest of the crew to be developed further. Never expected that Roger would be the most compelling characterization to me, what a lovely person
