I was not expecting this to be as raw and emotional as it was. I have a friend in recovery. After hearing her stories and reading this. It helped me understand a little more what it is like every day for her. It made me realize how important I can be for her just by being there to listen. 
To those who fight addiction every day, keep fighting you are worth it!
