As always, Moore makes fun of what’s already there, in this case Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream.
I love Pocket and Drool, and Cobweb was an endearing addition to the duo. Overall this book was enjoyable, but a little less interesting to me than Fool. A good beach read.
Fun if you like the Pocket books...I like most of his other books better. He mentions in the afterword how Noir came about, which was interesting. I like what he's done with Midsummer Night's Dream here.
"Fool" is one of my favorite books. "The Serpent of Venice" was an unexpected, fun sequel. At this point in the series, the same old jokes are getting old.
What a fun take on A Midsummer Night's Dream. Moore did his research and (mostly) kept his characters true to the original work. He added his own twists and lots of expletives and voila (he said in perfect f*$king french) - Shakespeare for Squirrels was made.
Humor isn't usually my thing, but this was welcome romp and one I would recommend to others.
