Such a fun read!

After asking the universe to "show her what happiness looks like," Mae bounces back 6 days (in a Christmas version of Groundhog Day) to re-live Christmas and avoid several mistakes she made the first time she lived through those days.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a Groundhog Day rehash, but I found the story and the characters to be real but not overly sweet, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Loved this! I hope there will be more holiday books by Christina Lauren in the future! Everybody should definitely read this book. I love how it was fast paced. It was predictable once I figured out what was happening, but I was still able to enjoy it.

Unfortunately this wasn't the best Christina Lauren book. The characters had close to zero personality.

Christina Lauren wrote a book that takes place around Christmastime? How come I haven't known about this any sooner?!

Most importantly, looks like I know what I'm going to read during Christmas.

This was super cute and fluffy! It didn't have enough "meat" on its bones for me to be fully invested in the relationship, but it had enough warm and fuzzies to keep me happy as a Christmas romance lover. And considering this has the Groundhog Day trope which I HATE, I'm pleasantly surprised that it didn't get on my nerves!

If you're expecting a proper friends-to-lovers romance with loads of back story, tension, and conflict, you won't find it here. But if you're just after some quick Christmas fluff with low angst, give this a shot. I can see myself revisiting it yearly in December when I just want something sweet and light.
