So dark and so many trigger warnings. An 18 year old girl tells the story of her capture, her torture, and how she helped many other young girls deal with their torture by the Gardener. Each girl branded with a butterfly tattoo and locked in the garden. 
I hate to use the word "enjoyed", but the read was captivating and kept me listening.

A beautiful garden filled with "butterflies," women who have been kidnapped, secluded, and tattooed, among other things. The Gardener tends to his precious "specimens" with care and devotion, until everything comes crashing down - and the only person with answers is a young woman named "Maya." 

I loved this book. I loved how it was written, I loved the dialogue, and it kept me so engaged. I can't wait to read the next one.
