Tied with LotR as my favourite fantasy series, decided to read this again after watching the show (haven't read it in >20 years). I was amazed by how many hints the first book has about things to come much later on. Don't know that I'll read all 17(?) books again but I'm already on to the second....

I am so happy I finally started this series. I watched the first two seasons of the Prime Series and I loved it. It was good to read the "original source." Now, I need to read the next 2 or 3 books so I don't forget what has happened. However, since each book is so massive, I need a break, because I have a long list of library books staring at me.
Strange read, enjoyed the story, wanted to continue, but it is heavy.
