Honestly, this book surprised me in a lot of ways.
I thought the romance aspect would be toxic and not my cup, but it worked really well, and it felt like fresh air to read about a not-so-typical romance. Especially because the mcs were very straightforward and honest with each other.

The flow of the book was exactly how I liked it, it was relatively fast but not so much that it felt rushed, a few things happened but they got resolved quickly (and no misunderstandings, yippee!!).

Loved how they started shipping Maddox and Devon immediately lol

si qualsevol d'aquests dos tinguera una unitat de cita amb la meua psicòloga no hi hauria llibre perquè tot ha sigut: inmadurez tras estupidez lolazo

Hands down one of the best legit enemies to “lovers” enemies I’ve read in the longest time. These men (not boys) MEN, did things to me and I’m jumping straight into book 2.

Officially hooked on Nordika Night!!! OMG! Garron Park was absolutely incredible! I have read hundreds of books and many many of them MM romance and this BY FAR was top tier perfection!!!! Without ruining this for anyone who is going to make the best decision and dive in immediately, here are a few key review point!
*BOTH MMCs are exceptional !!!! Character personality, relationship development, dynamic of all relationship in story is amazing!!! All supporting characters and entertaining and amazing, but the soul of both MMCs is perfection!
*plot line is freaking edible! It’s an incredible enemies to lovers, with all that hate lust but an incredible plot to absolutely hold the story and is so much fun to read!
*spice was spicin’! Hot doesn’t even begin to describe, and all that hate build up erupts into spicy perfection! Absolutely a 5 star( seriously better than 5 starts bit for rating scale purposes we will stick with 5/5) and hit and spicy! Cant wait to continue on with Nordikas perfection!!!!

i enjoyed their messed up relationship and thought it worked. however i needed to see how this all happened. i don’t think their reason for hate/live think was set up well. i was able to ignore that bec i thought their push and pull was fun hot and interesting but i don’t think if i was in a more critical mood i would’ve enjoyed it as much. also this is my first trailer park romance so that alone helped.

basically i enjoyed it for what it was and am happy to stop here. the hfn was good enough. i’ll definitely check authors other series.

The hate these two had for each other is the only thing that made this 3 stars. The grammar was not great and why was there so many explanation points?

Devon and Maddox? My new obsession. This book had me clinging to every page and immediately reaching for the next one—because leaving Garron Park after falling in love with these characters? Absolutely not.

Enemies to lovers is always a fave, but this one did something new: they stay enemies even while becoming lovers. The fight-or-fuck tension? Top tier. I ate it up with a spoon and asked for seconds. Devon, with his sharp tongue and relentless sass, totally stole my heart. His relationship with his brother, his fierce care for his mom, the way he kept poking at Mads (and lowkey loving it)—he was everything. But then Maddox with his quiet emotional depth? Ugh, lethal combo. And every time he defended Devon or made sure he was taken care of—melting.

One of my favorite parts? That neither of them came from perfect homes or had shiny dreams of fame or fortune—they just wanted to live life on their own terms. Stay close to their brothers, make an honest living, and find peace where they could. That kind of grounded love story? It hits different.

Between the angst, the drama, the spice, and the emotional gut punches, this was everything I wanted and more. I’m fully in my Garron Park era now—and I’ll be staying here until further notice.

Narration was well done. I find with bi-awakenings, that a poorly executed first time will ruin a the whole book for me. I could hear the raw emotions and I felt it along with the characters. I'm personally glad I chose audio for my 1st time reading this. (Available on hoopla libraries offering audio)
