I don't like that the characters are constantly violently fighting. Also, after one hookup, Maddox and Devon are both convinced their sex and relationship are the best things ever. And now, because of that, they suddenly develop the ability to communicate and immediately don't care who finds out they are gay/bi.

Other than that, it was a big ol' nothing sandwich. I'm very disappointed because BookTok highly recommended this series :(

This was such a good example of enemies to lovers that I was weirdly happy they kept fighting the entire time. I think it was Maddox who said “I’m falling for you, you dumb fuck” and I loved it. Devon and Maddox were made for each other. Also, this was a good example of an HEA that still felt super realistic. Like I have no doubt these two will be old and punching and fucking each other still. Lmao.

Another one where I feel all sorts of fucked up for enjoying it. Sigh.
