The BEST rival to lovers story!

Rivals to lovers is my all time favorite trope and this story was done in that trope to perfection! I am in love! Maddox and Devon fight each other to the end and I love it!

Two guys from the same side of town always trying to one up each other only to want to truly be on top of each other.
Nate and Xav are truly amazing brothers to be as accepting with their little brothers being and fighting together.

I can’t wait to jump into Lot 62 because I miss them all already!

Okay so, I might've gone a little nuts. I picked up this book because I saw FaeCrate was doing a new limited edition set of it. I like pretty books. Sue me. Or don't, because I have no money cause I keep buying pretty books that I like.

I actually liked the setting of this. Like weirdly vibes of Trailer Park Boys but gay I guess, although that show is kind of homo erotic regardless. There were a couple side characters that help flesh out the world more of Garron Park but mostly it's focused on the Sawyer and Kane families.

The enemies to lovers didn't make much sense to me because there's a lot of insta lust there. However, I honestly kind of love that they're so fucking toxic. I love toxicity when it's not IRL. They did really feel like enemies in the beginning and I liked the reasonings for them to get closer even if it was a bit heavy handed.

There were good portions too closer to the end of the book where it was very sweet. Their relationship is unique to say the least and they really lean into it. It's a little odd that such sweet things being said considering I think there was like at least three punches to the face perpetrated by the main characters.
I don't know if you've ever been punched to the head but like...that shit is not that easy to shake off.

I would say there's a split of like 80% character relationship moments and like 20% plot. If you don't wanna read two guys getting mad and hate fucking for about 70% of the book, I would steer clear. I enjoyed it though! There were silly funny moments and really heartwarming eee moments for me.

Pretty good. Maddox and Devon are so horribly good together. I liked the vibes of this book, dirt poor but in love
