aaaaah I loved this so much

Oh so I knew I was gonna love it I just had to get the balls to punch it. So as an All For the Game lover than I am this was probably the closest thing I’ll get to the feeling of reading that series for the first time. I need to start book 2 asap and find other books as gritty as this is because damn. This was amazing. Also Ian and Mikey from Shameless is who I pictured for these characters regardless of their descriptions. Also makes me want to rewatch shameless lol

2.5 stars. I both loved and hated this at the same time, which is basically the theme of the book anyways, so... good job? I really only read this because of the hype. It kept me engaged, but I wouldn't really recommend it to others. I do feel slightly invested in their relationship though and would love to see more of their brothers... ugh, like I said, both loved and hated this

IF YOU’RE GONNA AGE UP YOUR CHARACTERS, MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY ACT THEIR AGE!!

I’m sorry but the author should’ve made these two at least 17-19 years old. I had to ignore the fact they were grown ass 25-year-old men.

Also the relationship dynamic with their brothers was so ??? weird ??? I don’t know how close you all are with your sibling, but I would never go into explicit details about my sex life with my brother. I cringed whenever the brother scenes would come up like ugh. It would have been better if they weren’t aware of Devon and Maddox’s relationship until the end.

On the brighter side, Devon and Maddox’s relationship was entertaining. I loved reading their banter and quips at each other. At times, I did cringe because both of them kept spewing the “YOU’RE MINE” bullshit (let’s pipe down…y’all are 25). I still liked the fact they had the enemies-to-lovers thing going on even after they started hooking up. However, I do wish the author made it clear if these two were actually dating. Besides buying a trailer together and Maddox saving Devon’s ass for the fifth time, they never specified if they were official.

Eh, the storyline was promising but it could’ve been WAYYYY better.

Bad book. Not enjoyable. Flat characters. Literally no depth??? Dont know why I even gave it a chance.
1 star if i could still rate it.

Booktok strikes again with a terrible recommend. I’m sorry but there was 0 plot, and 0 build up to their ‘romance’ question mark???

Even the sex scenes were rushed with no build up?

They were annoying me with the constant arguments right up to the last page, and the weird relationships with their brothers referring to them together as ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’ etc and asking for details on their sex life beyond just ‘we had sex’ which is quite enough for any sibling. Just no, sorry.

I'm sorry but that first line of Chapter 8 had me 🤣

5/5⭐️

Sabes esto que dos personajes masculinos que claramente se quieren liar pero el autor les empareja con mujeres con las que no tenían química? Pues este libro al contrario. Son claramente heteros y la autora los quiere hacer gays pero no le sale bien
