I’m not sure I’ve ever read a book with this kind of dynamic, or where both MCs are true underdogs or considered ‘poor’. I loved it. It’s way more relatable. I loved the way their dynamic worked too, it worked perfectly for them. Excited to see the next book!

The tension and intensity between Madox and Devon are electric, making for a gripping read. If you love intense, action-packed romance, this one's for you!
The writing is pretty lackluster all throughout. And while the tension between the characters themselves was enough for me to forgive a few grimace-inducing lines, I don't think I will ever recover from reading "he already had a stomach full of my cum".
