Maddox and Devon completely surprised me and really stole my heart by the end of the book. I loved the tension and the discovery of new things for them. The journey to where they ended up was fun! Any kind of awakening is good… but when there isn’t even an ounce of shame involved? Ugh, so enjoyable.

Xavi and Nate made the story better too, their relationship is a little perplexing to me but I love them so much! These four are essentially a family unit and they are all precious (she says about grown men who just f*ck and fight all day long at the trailer park). 🥺

I just know the next book will have me deeper in my feels for them!

Tropes:
Enemies to Lovers (still enemies)
Forced Proximity
MM/Bi Awakening
Hurt/Comfort
One Bed
Motocross Rivals

My first dnf of the year.
I'm sorry I totally thought this was teens or something because they felt trapped and all, color me surprised when the mcs were 20+. Not that you should have your life figured it out at 20+ but the brothers for example, both of them worked, why couldn't they get out and get a small apartment just for them? Why being a 20 something with a job and not abandon their abusive shitty father? Maybe later in the book they explain why but I just couldn't see it. They (the brothers) were both of age, both worked, there was no reason to submit themselves to the abuse (they wanted to escape so they were not delusional that it was okay and they deserve it). They really acted like someone without options when that wasn't true.

just not for me

I wanted to like this. Everyone loves this book. But I kept waiting for the hate-love-hate to become more lovey and nice. I just don’t really believe they love each other. Maybe it was my mood at the time. It just was hard for me to push through this one

Fuck, I love these assholes. I dunno what else I can say in a review of this book. I love them and am foaming at the mouth for Lot 62. Time to go read it.
