This goes on the list of books I'd have loved if I had read them as a kid. It was fun to revisit the world of Howl's Moving Castle a bit, with appearances of old friends (though I found Howl particularly annoying in this one - I really don't see why ), I liked the new characters well enough, and the story was entertaining and typically madcap. It was just missing some oomph somewhere.
