⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it! Would recommend, almost perfect and likely would reread.
This follows assassin Alessio and his target Giulio, who is a mafia prince and has left the fold because he is gay. These two play cat and mouse for 50% of the book and I adored it. Then things change and they decide it's time to work together. It is action
I adored the angst and the mafia elements because it was such a fun read.

I don’t read much mafia romance but this book was great! The audio was really well done, and though it was very spicy there was tons of plot to balance it out. Definitely will go back and listen to the first 3 books in the series and the next book (5)

An enemies to lover book that has a charmingly sexy mafia prince & a hot stoic assassin?! YES PLEASE.
Giulio decided to walk away from his empire in order to protect himself & his family due to the fact that he’s gay. Even with him on his own & doing his own thing, there’s still enemies out there, & one of them put a price tag on his head. Enter Alessio. He’s known as the best assassin around, so of course he’s hired to take down Giulio. But Alessio didn’t expect his target to be so sexy. So he puts his current “job” on hold, & chases Giulio because he’s desperate to to get a taste of him. Giulio knew he was being followed, so he went into hiding, but there’s nowhere he can go that Alessio can’t find him. Even when they bicker back & forth, it’s impossible to overlook the connection that these two have. And when they both finally give into temptation, it’s electrifying! They fall so hard for each other, & end up being each others protector *SWOON* while the bad guys are after them. I loved seeing how soft Alessio was for his principe, & how possessive they were of each other.
This book is action packed & the smut is *immaculate*
