The last 100 pages brought it up to a 4 for me. I love Lucy Score, but this wasn't one of my faves. Still great read.
This one was pretty good. The home-improvement reality-show setting was interesting and the hero was super hot, fell first, and was very supportive of the heroine. She was stubborn, driven, and hypercompetent, but also in her own way to a degree that was occasionally frustrating. I did skim the book in places, and it didn't have as much spice as some other novels by the author. However, it was satisfying overall, and I have to say I loved LOVED the non-cheesy proposal and wedding. I usually roll my eyes at both of those, but this book was the first one in a long time where I could really get on board with how the leads approached matrimony. Well done!
Lucy Score sure knows how to write a grumpy hero who you just can’t help but love.

Love a good Lucy Score book, been eating up her books for some time now. This one was just as good as the rest; great banter, lovely journey, funny and the ending made me tear up 🥹
