Finished within 24 hours - this was my first light novel. I came to it after watching the anime and reading the manga adaptation. I think it definitely lends itself more to a manga/anime adaptation. The narration style here feels a bit distant and factual, whereas the manga seems to capture the emotions. I recommend the manga adaptation over the light novel so far (though the novels are further along I think, overall!)

(2.5. Read this when I saw the trailer for the anime adaptation. it's not THAT bad, but it is pretty basic in plot and that gets quite grading after a while even though this is only a short novel. Heard the anime's first season has more than one volume's plot in it, so might still watch.)
