Good book, it was basically multiple short stories about women of the Trojan war. Although it's harder to become invested in a character when they only have a few chapters, I ended up really liking the style. Since I was reading the audiobook, it felt like listening to a podcast. Penelope's letters were highlights. I love the idea of her taking it out on the bard when they tell her next dumb thing Odysseus did.

I'm still really into the female retellings of Greek mythology, so I really enjoyed this book. It was maybe a bit too scattered among so many characters, I think I would have preferred more books with more focus and background though. I particularly enjoyed Andromache (her last scene with her son broke my heart) and Cassandra.
