I found some of the retellings haunting and well-done, but some were just okay. But overall, I really appreciate how the author weaved the tales of these forgotten women, The narration was both vivid and elegant. It was very captivating.

Väldigt starkt skildring av det trojanska kriget ur olika kvinnors ögon. Gillar skarpt sådana här böcker, som tar en välkänd historia och vänder den upp och ner för något nytt men samtidigt bortglömd synvinkel.
I enjoyed the first half of this book especially, but my attention sort of shifted during the latter half and I skim read most of the ending. There were some beautiful passages, however, and I learnt so many little details of the Trojan War that I didn't know before. Nice book which I will come back to next time I enter my Greek Myth phase :)
Interesting idea, but just couldn’t keep my attention so I stopped reading about 2/3 of the way through.
