An interesting read. It made me think a lot about things that I'd never really considered before, and I really appreciate that.

Not often do I read a book that applies to work, family, friends, and everything in between. I am so excited to try the recommendations in this book at my next gathering.

Priya Parker details the important details of gathering-how you make your guests feel and how you connect them to one another or a purpose.
This book seemed better suited for event planners than your average host...but there were a few things I will remember to do in the future. I wish she had cut out some of the (rather verbose) examples, though. Got to be a bit of a slog at the end.

I loved this so much I ordered a copy to keep as a reference. It made me rethink every wasted opportunity and turn towards upcoming events with ideas for making them better.
