This is an exciting take on switching how we gather to get the most out of each interaction. There were some definite standouts here - like how the hosting begins the moment you send out the invitation, not when they enter the venue... and how you can set the rules for engagement to make the evening unexpected but have it run smoothly. A worthy read for all in the events-sphere.

This actually influenced some of our ideas for our wedding reception.

Went on a bit too long for my liking but had valuable information, especially for a social spastic like me. A fair few of her gathering examples are the type exclusively attended by rich people with waaaay too much time on their hands (Dinner en blanc can bugger off, thank you very much). However, some other examples were great in terms of us common folk who need to manage our Meetup groups, or plan a potentially tense business meeting, or break the ice in a conference. So I recommend it unreservedly, though perhaps go with the print edition, as it's easier to skip around to the relevant parts.
