This book has a lot of information, and I mean really a lot. I think that’s why it took me so long to read, because I kept being stuck in the loop of information, wanting to write it down, to make sure it remains in my brain. Overall I think I should have listened to the audiobook for this one, but it was a really insightful read.
challenging informative

This book made complex, critical economic theories easy to understand with its central, re-drawn diagrams and accessible language. The comparisons make the information digestible, even for those (like myself) with no prior study or knowledge of economics. We are given a history of each chapter of economics past; and we are subsequently told of its failings and shortcomings in today’s (and the future’s) economy. Informative and empowering.

(I plan to reread it after I read some more basic economics books, at which point I anticipate it receiving 5 stars!)
