I could not finish this book due to the racially and culturally insensitive humor in it. I really enjoy Discworld, but felt that Pratchett's characteristic humor and writing style in this novel was flat and tactless, instead being replaced by lazy jokes clearly aimed at specific groups of people. It would be one thing if this book was 100 years old, but its not. It released in 1994.

This book was... odd.

There were many parts I thoroughly enjoyed. But when it was dull, it was really dull.

Also way too many rape jokes. One is too many. There was more than one.

It truly was interesting. Nothing that's not typical for a book in the Discworld universe. Funny, good plot points that progress to a satisfying end.
