Wow did I love this book. It tells the story of two Black women in the 1950s who are going down very different paths and face alternate fertility experiences. It took until about halfway through the book to understand how their stories will overlap which kept me tapping through my Kindle pages. Such a devastating, raw, and heartfelt portrayal of what women endure in love and motherhood and the difficult decisions we have to make to do what's best for us. Someone fund the movie, I'll be there opening day.
