This book was written well, but not well written if you know what I mean. Full of poetic prose and detailed descriptions of scenery, I found myself bored quite often. This is one of those books where the main character goes on a journey and the journey is the point of the story, not necessarily heading to a conclusion.

Didn't work for me. The terribleness of things happening to the character was sort of unrelenting, and I also didn't feel that invested in her as a character. The writing was nice but didn't amount to much for me.
