This book was so devastatingly beautiful. Savage, mesmerising and in tune with nature. The lyrical writing felt at times like a Joanna Newsom song. I just loved it

Fans of Groff will LOVE this tale, half-fable half adventure is such a roller coaster of characters, imagery and emotion. I read this (DEVOURED) and really thought I was making into something it wasn’t until I read the other reviews supporting the thoughts in the back of my head. This nod to colonialism, America and the world we’ve been born into starts with the Vaster Wilds.

This was my first Groff novel and I’m certain it won’t be the last. Bravo.
