The three stars is for everything before the extension. Her added content had weird timeline issues that ruined the flow for me.

I just adore Jen Fredrick's writing! AnnMarie is my favorite type of heroine; strong, resilient, and yet still someone who shows moments of being human. Bo is definitely my favorite Marine man in this series so far. He's such a man-whore but the moment he meets AnnMarie, it all changes and I loved getting to read from his perspective.

I can't wait to read more from this author and I'll be on the lookout for her future books for sure! :)

“I'm a bad bet, Sunshine, but if you're willing to give me a whirl around the ring, I'm yours. Because you've got me so twisted up inside that I barely know if up is down. I'm so inside my head that I'm coming out of my asshole. Have mercy on me.”

I'm a sucker for college romances. But this story dragged from time to time and that kind of killed the buzz.

I didn't want this book to end! Bo and AM are these really strong characters and I loved their chemistry and unique situations. Bo was a thinker! I loved it. I especially loved that this whole amazing story unfolded without those redic predictable cases of miscommunication between two people learning how to trust/love or whatever. Those are SO overdone. No little innocents running from the room after having been shocked by some innocent exchange, etc.. This book, much like the first Woodlands, is unique, refreshing, hawt and lots of great storylines/friends. Bravo!

Cannot wait for more by Jen Frederick, she's the real freaking deal!

This book had a slight Beautiful Disaster feel to it. That’s not a bad thing, but it left me feeling like I had already read it at times (and consequently, a little bored at times). But, overall, I did find it to be an enjoyable read.

I really liked Bo. In the previous book, Noah took the time prior to the book starting to get his head together before going after Grace. And even though we got the back story and history, we didn’t actually see him work through all his issues. That wasn’t the case with Bo. He got out of the Marines and followed Noah across the country to college. With Bo, you could see right away that he had issues. He was a little tougher, more rough around the edges. And I liked all of that about Bo. Don’t get me wrong, I really loved Noah, he worked in his story, but if Bo had been like that, I don’t think it would have worked so well in this one.

AnnMarie. She went through a lot of crap. A LOT. And all of it was undeserved. She tried the best she could to survive and finally decided that enough was enough. When she finally stood up and set the record straight, I was standing right there with her cheering her on. She deserves all kinds of happiness.

I really hope that the author continues to write about Noah and Bo’s friends. I want to know more about Mal, Adam, Finn and Gray. I can’t wait to read more from the author.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Another great book by Jen Fredrick! Book 2 is Bo's story. I really enjoyed learning more about him.

Once again, the writing had me from the beginning. I couldn't wait to read more. Bo and AnnMarie were such interesting characters and so easy to connect with.

In Unspoken, we got to see some of our friends from Undeclared and met some new ones. I was so happy with the epilogue!!! Not only did we get to see Bo and AnnMarie's future, but we also got a glimpse at Noah and Grace's!!

Jen Frederick has made a big fan out of me and I can't wait to read more of her books!

Grab a box of tissues and be careful when you drink while reading this awesome, emotional, hilarious story! It's a serious rollercoaster ride, but the best possible kind.

A.M. & Bo
I loved this book even more than I loved book 1. I think because they are so much alike but in different ways. I know that sounds weird but it is honestly the only way I can describe it.

AM is strong and she doesn’t even know it. But with a little guidance she thrives so much. And the same can be said about Bo. They both have family issues they are not proud of but they both face them.

I loved the connection they share. I very much enjoyed this narration as well Stella Bloom is a favorite of mine and I think she nailed it. Oh and so did Andrew Eiden, he is a narrator I will be looking out for.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

AM made some mistakes in her freshman year at Central College. She partied a little too hard and crossed paths with the wrong guys. She's avoided campus since the rumours started flying and hasn't been back (outside of class) since. AM meets Bo in biology class and is finding his off-beat charm a little hard to resist. Things don't get easier for her when Bo volunteers himself as her lab partner for the year. Bo is an underground fighter with daddy-problems. He finds AM very intriguing as she's quiet, keeps to herself and isn't quite like the girls he usually associates with. We watch this unlikely pair get together and and see their romance blossom in Unspoken.

I appreciated that the author took her time to develop these characters. You don't find much depth in a lot of characters these days, but you definitely do with AM and Bo. Even smaller supporting characters have a bit of substance to them, which is nice. Also, unlike your typical romance where guy and girl meet, fall in love and live happily ever after, we get a little bit more of AM and Bo's story after they overcome some roadblocks and end up together.

If you don't like fighting, this book isn't for you--it's got quite a few scenes of ruthless violence. For those of you who enjoy it--there are even a few references to the UFC thrown in!

Good read, in general with a bit of spice when AM and Bo get a little hot'n'heavy ;)
