The Hungarian translation of the book was horrible, it ruined the experience for me. I should’ve read the book in English. The story is cute, but I couldn’t connect to the characters. Maybe years from now I’ll pick up an English version and see how good the writing is.

I can see why everyone fell in love with Monaghan when this book came out, and I almost wish I'd read it sooner. I absolutely loved this. The chemistry between Nora and Leo was perfect. Having a middle aged mom as the main character in a romance novel is totally my jam and I love that there are more books coming out with this type of character front and center. The romance was exactly right, the chemistry was perfection, and the story arc was everything I wanted. Normally I don't love when there is a misunderstanding driven by lack of communication trope in a romance novel, but in this case, it made sense based on Nora's belief that Leo was just too rich and famous to truly like her for her, I got it, it worked for me. She had a difficult time believing in this relationship, I totally understood why, and then when it seemed like it wasn't going to work out, all her fears were confirmed. I would have done the same in her situation, I am sure (although who can imagine such a thing?!). I LOVED this.
