The best in the series so far, imo. Even though it feels like the second half of Lirael. Loved it, cried a lot at the end. 💚

This was a pretty good conclusion to the trilogy, but I wish the trilogy overall felt more cohesive (instead of a standalone book and then a separate story split into two books).
But if nothing else, getting more worldbuilding with the Precincts made this worth it!
"Sabriel" is still the best of these so far, in my opinion.

While in the end a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, the pacing left me slowed and beleaguered by philosophizing and then quickened and shooting through the end with haste almost. however all the character had very sexy resolutions and i will adore nixs style till the end of days
