This was again another one of those books I got from the stuff your kindle day that I was pleasantly surprised by. It was by no means good, but I didn't have to force myself to push through it and I was curious to see how the story would play out. I loved their little secret trips to the rink to get their freak on and honestly it was good filler and cured a reading slump cause it was so lighthearted. The writing style was fine and I had no issue reading it, the couples dynamic was okay. I wasn't in love with either MC but glad I picked it up regardless.

My first Cali Melle book did not disappoint. A steamy hookup in a club leaves 2 strangers wanting more. They end up working for the same organization and spend more and more time together. They helped each other out as she needed to forget her ex and he needed a new lucky charm. This story is well written and I can’t wait for the next in the series!

Cute, fluffy and enjoyable hockey romance. Well written, and doesn’t have the typical third act breakup. I would have liked to have a little bit more suspense in the book… It felt like things were resolved really quickly. Also Nico is basically in love with Harper right away… it’s cute but felt a bit too fast.
