I could not put it down, and when I was forced too. . . I was genuinely upset about it!!! 😡
Harper was an excellent FMC. She was sharp, smart, and witty; and the BEST part about her was that she didn't lose her personality as soon as she & Nico became an item. I hate when authors turn the FMC into just a sexual being.
Nico was like the perfect guy. He was so unbelievably mature, kind, thoughtful, chivalrous, etc!!
Men like this do not exist, so that's your trigger warning.

Not sure how old these two are but it reads like an insta-love new adult romance. A bit clunky and sickly sweet and ever so predictable.
I’ve not heard someone call someone love so often or as early (unless they’re taking the pi$$) so this just came off as so disingenuous even though it was meant as a term of endearment.
