I LOVE THIS BOOK

was it a little unrealistic and escapist, perhaps, but i dont care i loved it. i had so much fun reading it. i laughed out loud and was outwardly horrified and triumphant and probably other emotions i’m forgetting. we will not talk about how long it took me to read it, i promise that was on me not on the book. i am simply lazy.

completely stealing this from another review, but i felt like i knew olive from the first page. adam was very brooding and sexy but secretly sensitive emo boy. was it a bit too obviously kylo ren? well his name was literally adam. but it was not overly fanfic-esque to me (especially compared to the first chapter excerpt of love on the brain??? i hate to say it besties but i think i will absolutely hate that book if i read it, my gut says it should’ve stayed on ao3)

the bonding scenes were soooo cute, i loved their coffee dates, and the SUNSCREEN, and the HOTEL SCENES(!!!!) i was so hooked when adam called olive by name when she hadnt told him it, i loved the callbacks to the first night. god they’re so cute together.

i love how unobservant olive is honestly it is very endearing, and i love her friendships, and i love that certain people get what they deserve. the world feels perfectly balanced between fun fake escape and real life. my favorite thing ever.

in conclusion i love this book and i love adam and olive together and did i mention i love this book:,)

I don’t know- maybe it’s just me but I think the explicit scenes were unnecessary to show the chemistry between these two! Beautiful story, couldn’t put the book down other than those scenes.
lighthearted slow-paced

I don’t normally write reviews for books, but this might be where I start!

The Love Hypothesis was everything I could have wanted from a typical romance book and more. It helped reignite my love for reading and made me feel so many emotions all in one. I read this book in under a week which is a shocker for me as I’m usually such a slow reader but Ali’s writing style grasped me in so easily.
Finishing this book has left me empty with a need to indulge in all other books written by Ali Hazelwood, it feels like no other book compares with how TLH made me feel, I cannot wait to read more of her books!

This was a reread but gosh I forgot just how much I enjoyed this book! It's cute and flirty and smart and just all around feel good! I also enjoy how the intimate scenes aren't perfect and it allows for trial and error which is so unlike a lot of "first time" together scenes where everything is perfect and there's no fumbling and getting used to each other, this is a great starter romance book and just full of green flags! Miscommunication isn't my fav in books but I liked how it was more insecurity than specific miscommunication that had them hesitant to communicate their feelings.
