I continue to enjoy this series. This second book seemed to drag at places, and I had no problem setting it aside at times.

The Roamers and the Worldtrees continue to be my favorite characters.

My copy of the book was a misprint and had a chunk of pages missing LOL. And frankly, the characters and overall writing is too flat, static, and repetitive to make me want to find a correct print of the book.

I really hope this series speeds up. This book has the same problem that the first one did. So many characters to keep track of that it becomes tedious to remember what's happening. About 2/3 of the way through the book, the action finally starts but we are left with more cliffhangers for the next book.

Continue the SF section. Good relations and twists as we seek to find out about the Hydrogues. Worried the King and Queen would not work out, but they did. Now to see if Jess and Cesca will end up together.

Second time reading, but towards the end it starts getting good. I enjoy the Klikiss ruins which include the teleporters and then when the other entities come to battle the hydrogues.
