his was a cute palette cleanser after coming off a really dark non-fiction read.
The storyline was interesting without being too cliche. The struggles of the main characters weren’t beat into the reader’s head through-out the whole book. I appreciate a non-repetitive author.
It was a little annoying in the “you offended me and had no idea 10 years ago and I hate you for it” enemy-to-lovers (but not really) troupe followed by some insta-love. Not terrible if that’s your thing. It is what it is.
