This was good but because she also has a whole diet and program I did listen with some hesitation as I refuse to get back into diet culture.  However the information and research provided are what I’ve heard from other menopause practitioners. It was affirming and hopeful.

So much great information for ovary owners. Still much research to be done but at least we are asking the questions.

Imagine, sitting down with your best friend, who’s also a gynecologist that specializes in the aging woman, and she just talks frank with you about perimenopause and menopause. Dr. Mary Claire Haver breaks down the why behind the symptoms that come along with the menopause ride. She even has an entire chapter on how to get the most out of your menopause doctor’s visits with specific tests to request and the menopausal importance of each. After reading this book, I not only feel validated, but feel empowered. This is a must read for every adult woman!

Time to talk about Menopause. Love how this book is set up and information given. We don't need to sit back and "deal with it"! This book gives you information so you can ask the Doctor questions and advocate for yourself.
