Would have been 5* of it was open doo! But I loved the story and need more polyamory in my historical romance

This is a really interesting read. It has some elements I'm not a fan of (insta-love and a joint triad relationship instead of a separate one), but it's a cute wishfulfilly story.

Warning, there isn't really any spice in this. It's a bit fade to Grey, but the book mostly just skips past any sex scenes while acknowledging that sex happened.

Great quick audiobook! The dynamics between all four groupings were all fleshed out and interesting which is impressive for such a short read. Loved how Richard and Marcus interacted with Miranda's sisters and the subversion of the "not-like-other-girls" trope was refreshing to see. I think the third-act breakup could've been better fleshed out but other than that I had a good time! Courtney Bailey is a lovely narrator as well!
