***Mild Spoilers***
This book definitely takes some time to get into. I feel like there was quite a bit of exposition that was missing when I read this. I had no clue the depths of the class differences and, sure, you kind of get it towards the end of the first book but I wish they gave us more detail. It's all a little vague. I think that the second book will enlighten me more. I love reading through multiple perspectives. I think that is a good hallmark of a reverse harem because it's not all one-sided. Daisy is a strong female character who still makes teenage mistakes but she isn't a coward. It makes her endearing.
Bryce, Rufio, Phoenix, and Morpheus are an interesting bunch. I want to know more about what happened to them on that "island." I think Bryce is the most endearing and he definitely has my heart. I think that he and Daisy are the most realistic and equal in terms of how they treat each other in a relationship. I like that there is obvious tension because he is an Idol and she is a Norm. I like that he doesn't force himself on her, he treats her with respect. However, he does become a standby when she gets hurt which I don't like but makes him better, in my opinion, because he isn't suddenly this white knight who wants to protect her from his brother and friends. There is a build-up to when he does actually help her which makes it a stronger turning point.
Rufio is not my favorite purely because he really does act like a teenage boy who takes revenge too far. I can say the same about Phoenix but we get a glimpse of his personal life that makes me feel for him in a way that I don't with Rufio. I don't like them in general (right now) though because they both antagonize Daisy even when they know what they are doing is wrong.
Morpheus is an interesting character and I don't really have much of an opinion on him other than the fact that he is neutral for the most part. I do like that he has obvious flaws that make him relatable. I mean, most authors write their men with no other problems than family problems. But, he is struggling in math and actively wants to do better, to be better and I can get behind that.
#TeamBryce. I just had to lol

A fun adventure
The characters are fun to get to know. I loved the multiple POVs. The storyline is exciting and kept me interested the whole time.

5 Starsss!!!!
Omg this was soooo good! I’m always down for a PN RH book and this book definitely delivered! I loved Daisy, she’s such a badass. Even though she’s a norm she really didn’t cower to anyone. Love that for her.
Rufio and Phoenix made me want to fight them so much omg! I loved Bryce and Morpheus the most! I’m really curious to see how all their relationships develop in the rest of the series.
Such a good book ugh!

There are two sides: Idols and Norms. For many years, those with supernatural abilities, the Idols, have been the dominant group. However, the scales are tipping and anything can happen in the gameboard of the Gods.
Daisy is a Norm who has been dealt a bad hand in life and when she is offered the chance to attend the prestigious Gifted Academy, she takes it. Her plan to keep a low profile is ruined when she catches the eyes of the four most powerful guys at the academy: Bryce, Rufio, Morpheus and Phoenix.
I cannot express how much I enjoyed Wicked Gods. The plotline is unique compared to other books in the reverse-harem genre which made Daisy’s story refreshing and intriguing. I honestly could not put it down. Also, if you like your heroine with a backbone, you got yourself a winner with this one. Daisy is not the type to take shit from anyone which is essential as there are more bullies than friends at the Gifted Academy.

🚩This was so stupid.
🚩The MMCs are pieces of shit.
🚩Rufio says that Daisy is in danger but instead of leaving Phoenix or himself to protect her, they both leave her to the wolves to take care of Morpheus (when one of them could just do that) clearly this shows he does not really care about her.
🚩Then all of them do nothing when the video of Daisy stripping is shown to the whole school. They just stand there like"😐" . Seriously?
🚩Lets not forget when Rufio took advantage of Daisy when she was under the influence.
🚩Idc how many times Phoenix gets assaulted by his dad, but that doesnt excuse him to do the same thing to Daisy.
🚩Bryce needs to be decisive. One day he is like "i wont let anyone hurt Daisy" the next he is like "i dont care" . He is idol 17, with his power, he would have protected Daisy from day one!
🚩We get that Daisy has a nice pair of tits! Good for her! We certainly didnt need to be reminded every paragraph about how fantastic they look!🤦🏻♂️
🚩Daisy is another dumbass character. This girl doesnt really care about her sister, does she? She needs to know when to read the room and when to keep her mouth shut. I understand that she is angry when she gets bullied. But she should be less talking and more thinking. Insulting the idols is going to get you dead, so use that big brain of yours and revenge against them in a way they wouldnt know it
was you.
🚩Also, Daisy mentioned that only a sick woman would crush on her bullies, yet she does anyway.
🚩I dont get it why these FMCs have so low self control. The idols got your dad and mom killed, yet you are going to lust after them? Even after the countless bullying? 🥴
🚩Daisy does not even do the bare minimum of research. She has never made any effort to continue her dad's research nor did she even thoroughly read the book given to her by the librarian. If she doesnt care about her life, then why should we?
🚩Why the hell did the principal offer Daisy a scholarship and doesnt even bother to protect her?
🚩The story has a lot of plotholes and idiotic characters.
🚩And frankly, i dont think i will read book 2.

things i didn’t like 😞
-when the love interests would do something then be mad that they did it?? like if it isn’t the consequences of your own actions 🤯.
-the random O Phoenix give her like WHAT??? why did they think that was okay. IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS!!
-we don’t see a lot of Rosie (even if we did i ain’t like her) i feel like Daisy didn’t really need a sister cuz she wasn’t even important.
-also why’d they think a 14-15 yr old was okay to just live alone while her sister went to this once in a life time school?
-the mystery plot with the silver whatever just disappears
-TOBY A 17 maybe 18 YEAR OLD TALKING TO ROSIE the 14-15 YEAR OLD and Daisy not giving af is wild.
-Daisy was too forgiving(??) like what is wrong with her actually 😭. after the diner incident and she’s in unearthly desires and intoxicated Rufio comes up to her touching her n stuff n she’s turned on 😭!!
-the random dry humping after Felicitys bday like plz tell me you don’t have an idea for the plot without telling you don’t have an idea for the plot.
-i didn’t hate Bryce but at times he was too hot and cold like literally stfu spoiled brat god 😭
-Phoenix. i didn’t like him for more then half to book. til he was literally in the ocean to help daisy is when i stopped HATING him(still don’t like him)
-the fact she’s a helpless defenseless norm. ik this is my fault for continuing after the fact but idk i thought she’d turn out op in the end 😭😭(im delusional)
-OMFG THE PRINCIPAL I HATE THAT BITCH. mrs “i can handle my students” like she was the LEAST HELPFUL PERSON THERE!!
-Bryce’s random kidnapping. they held him for 48 hours just to release him with some riddle about Daisy not being okay.
-also at the end when Bryce is there and helped Daisy and they kissed. i don’t know i love love or whatever but i don’t think it was needed.(maybe i don’t love love cuz why is this in the hate list it’s literally just a kiss 😭)
-romance wasn’t romancing. ik it’s a bully romance and whatnot but insta-lust is gross guys.
- i get that idols are dangerous n shit but my god people warning Daisy about them like she doesn’t know first hand how dangerous they were pissed me off (ALSO POPPY or mr x THROWING IT IN HER FACE AT FELICITYS PARTY MADE ME SO MAD.)
-i don’t like the way they talking about women. it’s incredibly sad and gross.
guilty pleasures in this
-Toby (beside him being a child lover)
-Morpheus.
-MORPHEUS’S SMILE PLZZZZ
-Morpheus’s powers also intrigue me like i see the potential!!
- i didn’t like Rufio tbh but like half way he kind of grew on me?? idkkkk.
-i liked her high. she was fun yk besides the dry humping n literally ditching Rosie.
-the bluntness the love interests had blew me away at times it was too funny.
