I like this series a lot! Love the character interactions and the mysteries are twisty & compelling. ❤️

I was expecting this volume to continue the garden event storyline, so the pacing felt a little off to me when Maomao suddenly goes back to her home for a few chapters. I like Maomao's relationship with her dad, he's like a detective too. But what was that cryptic line about her being at the palace?? 👀
