Normandy Gold was wild. I love when a character gets into the trenches to seek revenge. Normandy woke up and chose violence.   Oh and I love all the characters are molded after real actors.  The one character, you can clearly see Robert Redford.  Good time.

Great art and dialogue make for an entertaining read in this gripping pastiche of 70s conspiracy thrillers. Normandy makes a kick ass heroine and whilst the plot isn't that original it did keep me gripped.

I'm a big fan of Abbott's novels, so I was disappointed in this book. I don't think there's enough room for proper character development, forcing motivation and rushing plot. As a result, the main character's decision-making is hard to understand. I like the 70s setting and mood, but I felt the story itself was missing something.
