Black Mercy is book one in A San Francisco Rock Romance series by Stacy McWilliam. It has everything you want in a book! Drama, suspense,action, romance, and you can’t forget love!! It is full of love on various levels! Trust me, you will love this book , just like I did!
This is my first time reading this author. But oh goodness, I’m a huge fan now! It’s beautifully written, with huge, larger than life characters. The characters are so deep and complex. They’re like an onion, you have to keep peeling back layers.. to expose their true self!!
Mason is a huge up and coming rockstar. But he finds himself in a huge pickle… he has two young babies and he’s in need of some serious help!
You seriously have to read this book! It has soo many different elements to this book. So many different things going on, you will not be able to put it down. It’s definitely quite the roller coaster ride, that is for sure!!
My only complaint… it does leave off in a cliffhanger. Which I absolutely hate! But I’ll patiently await the next book… which I truly can’t wait for!! I’m anxious to see what happens next! Wonderful job, Stacy!!

Black Mercy (San Francisco Rock Romance Book 1) by Stacy McWilliams is the first book in her San Francisco Rock Romance series. This is my first book by this author and I can't wait to read more of her books. Her writing style is creative, easy flowing and pulled me in from the first word. Her details made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Her characters are connectable, lovable and true to life. They will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride you won't want to stop. This story has some twists and turns that you won't see coming but will keep you turning pages. This is the story of Mason and Amber. Mason is the rock god in a successful band but in his personal life things are really a mess. He has found himself a single father and in need of a live in nanny. This is where Amber walks into his life. He knows the best thing he can do is to give her the job and to get her in his bed. Amber is a little messed up herself. She has lost her job, her family has disowned her, she really is just at a dead end in her life. When she walks in for her interview for the nanny position she is shocked to see who is sitting there. Will she be able to do this job without attempting to take things further with Mason? Will these two be able to keep things employer – employee relationship or are they headed down a new road? I loved both of these characters. Amber is so broken and it was great watching her grow throughout the book. She has been through so much that I just felt for her. Mason comes off as kind of nasty but I think somewhere inside him there is a compassionate person. These two where so great together that I kept hoping that they make it threw the life struggles to find the happiness. I can't wait to see what will happen next in this series. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to find out if these two give in to their attraction.

Black Mercy is the first book I've read by Stacy McWilliams, and I have to say I cannot wait to read more. This story sucked me right in and then left me screaming when there weren't anymore pages left. I mean it had to end that way?! I cant wait to read book 2 because I need to know the rest.
Mason is a hot rockstar with 2 kids after the loss of his best friend. He is looking for a many and isnt having any luck and then walks in Amber. With the push and pull between these two, I wasn't holding out any hope but then it happened. Despite the fireworks, Mason still has trust issues and pushes her away in the only way he knows how.
Amber has had a rough go of it as of late,and now with the drama surrounding her family and friends, she can't catch a break, until her new job. Even through the distaste of Masons sister, she holds strong anf weather's each storm as it comes. But can she survive the hurtful words Mason throws around to prevent her from being a target?
I need to know what happens next! Great read, can't wait for more!
