Awesome! A great story that made me experience so many emotions in such a short space of time. Great story, so beautifully told. No need to say more.
Currently runner up to Children of Dune in terms of longest amt of time it’s taken me to finish a book… BUT it was v good :’) I liked the second half from Michael’s perspective a lot more which is why I was finally able to finish it these past 2 days. Now I need to go live in a shed in the French countryside.
I really liked the writing but the pacing was uneven. I had a difficult time getting invested in the story but it picked up toward the end.
