this was very cute but i’m not sure i’m invested in the characters or their relationship. i love the sign language aspect (i don’t know that i would run out of fingers on one hand counting books that i’ve read that similarly talk about sign language, which makes this book really cool), but i wasn’t convinced on the main characters’ chemistry or their reasons for liking each other besides general curiosity about one another. maybe this is because of the fast pace of the book and not feeling like i spent much time at all with the characters. not sure if i’ll read the next one but it was an enjoyable, very quick, and lighthearted read.
