I decided to read this manga after a couple of years with little to no mangas on my tbr. I went for it because of the mysterious vibe and nice art style, but also because I really wanted to read a one-shot type of story. Here's my review.
First of all, I'd like to point out that the plot is *quite* complicated, mostly because the author tends to switch the timelines/stories in the middle of the chapter so you need to stay focused. I wouldn't say that it's necessarily a bad thing BUT- some of the final reveals were not as great for me as they could have been.
The mystery in the manga is interesting enough to keep reading, but there were some moments that made me question whether or not I actually want to do that one of them being the implied incest between the main girls characters (not twins, but similar so still quite a weird vibe) and also the implications about the author and his niece (again, I'm not sure if the romantic love was intended to be implied, but I had read a fair share of mangas before and it certainly felt similar to the romantic ones) . The art is- again- amazing.
Overall, I may reread it one day, as some other readers recommended. I'm not quite sure if it's worth the extra time. The atmosphere is well-built, but the story and characters are not that well written in mu opinion.
