This was surprisingly nice short book from the Anita series. Less sex, more of the old Anita. I enjoyed it a lot. I like Micah and I love Nataniel.

Not much happened. Good look into Anita and Micah alone. Still love Micah

A shortish Anita Blake story without too much gratuitous sex. Back to the good old raising of the dead and some character development around Micah.

Just too short and felt like a filler book

Much simpler book in the series but that’s a good thing for me. I enjoyed the better balance of plot and sexline. I enjoyed learning more about Micah even though I wanted Anita to be more mellow (1 step forward, 2 steps back) . Overall I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to start the next in series.

This was way too short to call it a book but it was good to find out more about Micah he is my favourite boyfriend of Anitas harem.
