AHHH the ending was sooo good, it was very cliche but it made me so happy. There were times that felt very slow, but over all the story was very well written & very funny.

This volume took me significantly longer to get through because I struggle to stay interested in a certain scene that lasted waaay longer than it needed to (I'm talking 100+ pages in a damn cave). Once i powered through, the rest of the volume was pretty enjoyable. although i admit i didn't enjoy it as much as volumes 1 + 2.
Just like the other volumes, this one was also funny, action-packed and full of characters. There are shocking plot twists and enjoyable dialogues hence why it's positively rated.
alas, I just cannot get behind these two as a couple. It just makes no sense to me, and i feel like they don't actually have a romantic energy to them. Shen Qingqiu deeply cares for Luo Binghe as everyone and their mother can tell, but i just am not getting a romantic attraction.
that being said, since this was technically the end of the novel, i did enjoy that everything (but the romance) was concluded pretty satisfyingly.

honestly didn't enjoy the beginning of this all that much and the middle was extremely slow but BOY was that ending arc good. maigu ridge was so freaking good oh my god i need to sit and stew in my thoughts for a little while
