This newest MinaLima edition is another excellent addition to the series and by design alone I would give it full five stars. Unfortunately some of my rating goes to the story, world, characters and plot. And as this whole series (as with too many children's books) suffers from the trope of "adults are stupid and/or evil, I have to take points off. Dumbledore, held up as a respected figure, continues to permit blatant favouritism both in Snape's treatment of students in Slytherin house, and the continual bullying of students in other houses, particularly Harry and his friends. Cornelius Fudge is an absolute incompetent, and the ministry in general is shown to be both corrupt and cowardly.
Harry is once again forced to return to an abusive household.

So it's a reread and I knew all this already, but that's what stops it getting five stars.
