This was a really captivating book and very intriguing. A little disappointed with the ending in that Laura's relationship with her father wasn't dealt with. Other than that I really enjoyed it

This was an interesting story!
I liked the switching between Laura and Will’s story. The love story between Will and Elsa is a sweet one and very engaging and I enjoyed trying to figure how whether Elsa was real or not. It wasn’t easy to try and figure how what had happened as Laura was an unreliable narrator, with her mental health and medication she was taking. So definitely made it harder for the reader to figure it all out!
There were some genuine moments when Laura was in the old house alone that spooked me, which I quite enjoyed!!
The ending is interesting and totally did not see it coming. Unfortunately, the ending is where the story lost me a bit. I really liked the idea of it, it is very different but I just needed more. I needed about 30 more pages of Laura and seeing her figuring it all out and learning how to live etc.
This was definitely a slightly different book to what I normally read and it was fun discussing it with my bookclub.
