This book was such an edge of your seat read. And to think it might even all be true is scarier still. Bill Browder has a big problem in the form of Putin and this book tells a story of his miraculous life as a high powered financier.

This is top notch and Fila in a lot of pieces about Russia and putin that a lot of us in the West are still oblivious to. Brutalities of a corrupt state are not a thing of the past or a fantasy from Hollywood.

This is a fantastic story told well. I recommend it both for the quality and the illuminating effects it has about global politics.

A gripping page turner from start to finish. Bill's journey from a global capitalist taking advantage of inefficiencies in Russia's economy to a human right's activist lobbying congress to pass laws against the worst of the worst was incredible to read through. Highly recommend.
